Estimated time needed: 3 minutes.

Let’s get started.

Get your Widget Code

First, retrieve your widget code from SiteTran. If you haven’t already signed up for SiteTran, it only takes 30 seconds. After creating your account, create a new site in SiteTran to get your widget code, which will generate the language dropdown on your Create site.

Copy the Widget Code

Click the "Copy" button to get your widget code. You will use this in a bit.

Your Widget Code is available when creating your SiteTran site. If you skipped this step you can also retrieve it from the widget page.

Access Content Section

After logging into your Create account, navigate to the top menu bar and click on the Content option.

Select the Content option from the top menu bar after logging into your Create account to start the SiteTran widget integration

Navigate to HTML Fragments

Select HTML Fragments from the left sidebar after accessing the Content section to add the SiteTran widget code

Add New HTML Fragment

To add the SiteTran widget, click on the "Add HTML Fragment" button located on the upper right side, just below the top menu bar.

Click the Add HTML Fragment button in the top-right section below the menu bar to insert the SiteTran widget code

Configure HTML Fragment Settings

When adding an HTML fragment, it is required to enter a descriptive name -- you may put anything you like, or something simple like "SiteTran," in the description box. Paste the SiteTran Widget Code that you copied earlier into the "HTML Code" text box. Make sure to select the "Head" option so the widget appears on every page of your site.

Your widget code looks like this:

<script>var sitetran = { site_id: your_site_id };</script>
<script src="//c.sitetran.com/widget/v3.js"></script>

Finally, click the Add HTML Fragment button at the bottom right to save your changes.
