Which platforms does SiteTran work with?
SiteTran works with any website where you can add a short script: Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, BigCommerce, Bubble and the other platforms on this page, plus custom-built websites and web apps made with React, Vue, Next.js and more. Each platform page shows exactly where the code goes.
Do I need a developer to install SiteTran?
No. On most platforms you paste the Widget Code into one settings field, such as a header or custom code box, and publish. WordPress uses a free plugin instead. It usually takes a few minutes.
My platform isn't listed. Can I still use SiteTran?
Yes, as long as you can add custom code to your site. Follow the JavaScript/Custom setup and paste the three lines of Widget Code into your site's HTML. If you are not sure where it goes on your platform, email us and we will point you to the right place.
Is the setup different on each platform?
Only where the code goes. Translation itself works the same everywhere: SiteTran discovers your text, you translate it with AI, your own translators or both, and published translations appear in the language dropdown on your site.
How much does it cost?
Every platform uses the same plans. The Free plan includes 7,000 words in your site, 3,000 translated pageviews per month and 7,000 machine translations, with unlimited languages and teammates. Paid plans start at $3 per month.
Can I translate several sites on different platforms?
Yes. Create a SiteTran site for each one in the same team. Your plan is shared by the team, every plan includes unlimited teammates, and Shared Resources lets one site reuse another site's Glossary, Similar Phrases and Translation Rules.
