Dynamic Numbers In Phrases

This amazing feature similar to the Variable Translations In Phrases enables you to add and translate a phrase which contains a number that can change, like a date or currency, and enable that translation to match even if the number changes. Powered entirely through SiteTran, requiring no additional work from a developer. This feature is easy to set up/use.

This can all be done directly in SiteTran, so you don't need to make any changes to your website. It's amazing.

Activating variables for your phrase in SiteTran is a 2 step process. First in /site-phrases-in-page in SiteTran, click the 3 vertical dots, and then "Edit", then toggle "Enable Auto Numbers". Now that the phrase has been set to Auto Numbers, you need to translate it using the exact numbers that appear in the translation (order the numbers however needed in your language).

Example Use Case:

Let's take this phrase as an example:

Today is January 1, 2025.

In the phrase above, the day "1", and the year "2025" can vary depending on what day it is. It might be January 2, 2024, or 2027, etc. It would be really hard (not to mention expensive) for a translator to translate this phrase with every single possible number combination, that's when our solution comes into play!

Note: if your phrase also contains words that vary for example the name "Jonathan", in this phrase:

Hello, Jonathan! Today is January 1, 2025.

You'll want to use the Variable Translations In Phrases feature instead, which is slightly less performant, but necessary for these situations where you have both text & numbers that vary in the same phrase.
